North Belle Vernon Borough Holds 2026 Reorganization Meeting

On Monday, January 5, North Belle Vernon held its annual reorganization meeting, marking the start of a new term for borough leadership.

During the meeting, elected members of Borough Council were officially sworn in. The following council members took the oath of office:

• Karen Jones, re-elected Councilwoman

• Jon Wasicek, re-elected Councilman

• Cody Ambrose, newly elected Councilman

• John Gilmore, newly elected Councilman

Also during the meeting, Craig Ambrose was and sworn in as Mayor and Virginia Ferguson was sworn in as tax collector.

Following the swearing-in ceremony, Borough Council elected its leadership for the new term. Brett Berish was selected as Council President, and Karen Jones was elected as Council Vice President.
