This past Saturday, October 12, the North Belle Vernon Community Bank Parks Festival welcomed over 1,000 attendees, making it the largest event in its history. From 3 to 7 p.m., the park buzzed with excitement as families, friends, and neighbors gathered to celebrate the heart of the community.
With more than 25 vendors on hand, festival-goers had a diverse selection of goods, crafts, and local products to explore. The vibrant vendor booths offered something for everyone, from handmade jewelry and home decor to delicious homemade treats. The festival’s live entertainment, headlined by The String Theory, set the perfect tone for the evening. Their energetic and soulful music had the crowd swaying and singing along, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Children delighted in a range of activities, including face painting and pumpkin painting. The pumpkin painting station was especially popular, allowing kids to get creative with colorful designs just in time for the Halloween season. Of course, no festival is complete without great food, and this year’s event did not disappoint.
With record-breaking attendance and a day filled with fun, music, and connection, it’s clear that this beloved event continues to grow each year. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year!
